You and Me

I want you to know that I have BIG plans for this blog. It's going to be an intricate web, a conglomeration, a story book of....well, nothing. Yes, this blog is about nothing. Nothing in particular. But don't you worry, I promise to be consistently inconsistent and besides lots of things have been rather successful when based on nothing. Seinfeld, Friends, just to name a few. My only goal is to inform you.....and to perhaps make you smile.

I should inform you that everything written on here is based off of my opinions and experiences. I am not a professional photographer. I am not a chef. I am not a professional DIYer. Not even self-proclaimed. However, I've read lots of books on photography and taken lots of pictures, even a class or two. Hosted lots of dinner parties and cooked for lots of charities. I've even dabbled in a craft or two. And they do pay me to teach science to real students and even let me give experimenting a go time and again. So, really try my recipes and tutorials at your own risk, but I promise you'll find success in at least one or two. By the way, you'll probably be seeing a good bit of these guys. But only because I love them so.

Just in case you haven't caught on, I'm a Dr. Seuss fan. So much so, that the title of my blog 'On Beyond Z' is from his book On Beyond Zebra. Although this blog seems to be about nothing, it really is about everything under the sun. Even all those things beyond Z. A place outside the box. Each of the pages also correspond to a book from Dr. Seuss. Green Eggs and Ham will consist mostly of recipes. Teeth are Always in Style will consist mostly of photography tidbits and It's Better to Know How to Learn will contain all the teaching, DIY and FYI type things.

I look forward to continuing to learn all those things beyond Z and I hope you do too.
