BLT Dip

Want everyone to praise your culinary skills? Make something with bacon in it. I promise they'll love you forever.

This dip is perfect. 1) It has bacon. 2) It is easy. 3) It has only 6 ingredients, that you probably have on hand.

This recipe comes courtesy of my cousin. I have no idea where she got it, but whenever she made it for the family for the first time it became an instant hit.

What you'll need: mayonnaise, sour cream, tomato, onion, bacon, garlic powder

First, bake ~10 slices of bacon. Just put it on the broiler rack and then throw it in the oven for 15 mins at 350. While the bacon bakes, add equal parts of mayonnaise and sour cream. Dice a large tomato, medium onion and add garlic powder. Change amounts as needed, just keep them at the same ratio.

Cut up the bacon and add to mixture.

Mix everything together and let chill before serving. You can serve it with any kind of cracker, but it goes rather well with pumpernickle bread.

BLT Dip
1 c mayonnaise
1 c sour cream
1 large tomato, diced
1 medium red onion, diced
10 slices of bacon, cooked
1-1/2 tbsp garlic powder
